I definitely agree! This is why people are always so surprised when I tell them how unhappy I was. They see a smiling face and assume everything is rainbows and unicorns.
I do agree in the sense that the most beautiful parts of ourselves is the part we hide. The things that uniquely define us as us, we hide from society because they are unpopular and ‘weird’.
Whatever people show to the world (especially on social media) are the things that society will like and approve. In the end, they show what they are not and hide who they are because of criticism and rejection.

Yeah,it is.I’m sorry you have to go through this. Even I do have same experiences .
Very few people understand what you go through.
I think we’re what we don’t show to the world.I mean.. things we enjoy doing but don’t wanna tell the world.
